Ездили на неделю в Вену с 15 по 22 октября этого года. Получили массу приятных впечатлений, но, как ни странно, от самой Вены в наименьшей степени, а в основном впечатлили Зальцбург, Инсбрук, конечно же музей Сваровски, Криммльские водопады и малюсенькие городки Кицбюэль, Миттерсиль, Ваттенс. Отель и принимающая сторона - компания Mondial никаких нареканий у нас не вызвали. Отель вполне приличный, хотя, по-моему мнению, на европейские 4 звезды не особо тянет. Зато расположен очень удобно, совсем рядом с вокзалом, с которого мы прекрасно добирались в любой город Австрии на поездах. Организовано все было отлично. Соглашусь с "потерпевшими", кто попал на экскурсию со Светланой Анатольевной :) Настоящая школьная учительница в худшем смысле этого слова. В совершеннейшем восторге от себя самой, главным своим достижением, видимо, считает, что фамилия у нее Вакнер (или как там) и что она уже 11 лет живет в Австрии. Ну, да Бог с ней. Скажу только, что мы просто-напросто сбежали от нее с половины первой экскурсии и больше уже не обременяли себя ее обществом. Что же касается организации экскурсий, ребята, так всегда и везде: проносимся мимо действительно интересных и приятных мест, где хочется вдоволь пофотографировать или просто посидеть и треснуть пивка в кафешке и застреваем долго и нудно около какого-нибудь весьма значительного, но очень скучного шедевра. Именно поэтому я, бывалый турист, стараюсь по-возможности избегать экскурсий, а лучше - купить толковый путеводитель и облазить все интересные мне места самостоятельно. К тому же получается и существенная экономия средств. К примеру за экскурсию в Зальцбург всё та же С.А. просила по 110 евро с носа, что с двоих составит понятное дело 220, не считая мелких брызг, мы же своим ходом на чудесном австрийском поезде, с перекусами в кафе, неспешными прогулками по всем понравившимся нам уголкам, уложились в 160 евро на двоих, что приятно :) Особую радость, конечно, нам доставила наша авантюра с самостоятельной поездкой в Инсбрук, оттуда в музей Сваровски, ночевкой в Инсбруке в очаровательном махоньком пансионе на берегу реки Инн, а на следующий день - Криммльские водопады - зрелище совершенно потрясающее! Могу сказать, что и сама дорога до них на трех перекладных, объяснения с местными жителями на ломаном немецком - это тоже fun! Вот где видишь настоящую Австрию: сумасшедшей красоты горы, прозрачные бурные речки, коровки, как из рекламы, домики-игрушки, вот где мы действительно нашли кучу впечатлений и гору фоток :)Я уже не говорю (относится только к девочкам всех возрастов) про магазин Сваровски в Инсбруке! Там при входе им следует выдавать сердечные капли :)
Что же до Вены, да, безусловно, красивый город, но, честно скажу, не обаял, не влюбил в себя... Кстати и люди здесь гораздо менее дружелюбные и открытые, чем в маленьких городках.

Наталья, спасибо за интересный рассказ! Я тоже была в Вене лет 5 назад, правда, всего 5 дней и только в Вене. Возможно из-за этого я изучила ее вдоль и поперек и она мне очень понравилась. Я согласна с тем, что природа Австрии и маленькие нестоличные города - это особая тема и особенное очарование, но за Вену все-таки хотела бы заступиться... Наверное, ее надо сравнивать с ей подобными столичными городами - Будапештом, Прагой, Берлином...Скажем, по сравнению с Будапештом, Вена мне понравилась много больше. Хотя могу быть предвзятой - иногда на наше мнение очень действуют субъективные факторы, погода, окружение, и просто удача, которая сопровождает или не сопровождает в путешествии...
