Путешествие в сказку
Я начал планировать поездку в Гоа задолго до срока. Чтобы не нарваться на какой-нибудь «подводный» камень, излазил инет, изучая курорт, местные обычаи и нравы. Советую всем, кто собирается туда, заранее узнать о Гоа побольше. Будет меньше неожиданностей.
Итак, начну о самом путешествии. Как и большинство из поездок, эта началась с аэропорта Домодедово. Хотя и говорили, что регистрация начинается за 3 часа, она началась, как и в прежние времена, за 2 часа до вылета. Сдав багаж, пошли на пограничный и таможенный досмотр.
У меня с Домодедовскими пограничницами отдельная любовь. Они меня так любят, что границу я прохожу в течение 15 или 20 минут. За это время, через соседний погранконтроль, проходит 3-4 человека. Вот и в этот раз я предупредил своего приятеля Михаила, с которым летел в Гоа, что ему придётся меня ждать. Так и вышло. Он подходил к соседнему окну позже меня, но уже успел пройти и ждал перед таможней. В это время моя пограничница внимательно изучала мой паспорт, делала в компьютере запрос на меня. В конце концов, она спросила, нет ли у меня с собой внутрироссийского паспорта. Наученный горьким опытом, я теперь всегда беру с собой внутренний паспорт, если лететь приходится через Домодедово. Изучив мой общероссийский паспорт, пограничница поставила отметку о выезде в заграничном. Девушка, спрашиваю я, почему я всегда так тяжело прохожу погранконтроль в Домодедово? Она засмущалась, ну не скажешь же, что двухметровый амбал, с физиономией Чикагского мафиози, вызывает подозрение… Ах, говорит, у вас такое распространенное имя, что приходится делать запрос. Да и паспорт у вас новый… Я и со старым паспортом всегда долго проходил через границу. А, насчёт имени, что, Ивановы, Петровы и Рабиновичи совсем невыездные?
На таможне нам пришлось разуться и снять поясные ремни. После этого всех ощупали таможенники. Причём, совсем не обязательно, что женщин осматривают женщины. Лететь предстояло «Боингом» «Трансаэро» 6 часов 45 минут. Полёт беспосадочный. Взлетели… Как всегда, сначала начали разносить напитки, потом ужин. Включили телевизоры. Показали Гарри Поттера и ещё какой-то фильм.
В аэропорт Даболим, воздушные ворота Гоа, мы прилетели, по местному времени, в 5-30 утра. Аэропорт крошечный, поэтому от самолёта до здания мы шли пешком. В это время прибыл только наш рейс, и мы очень быстро прошли пограничный и таможенный контроль. В самолёте нам заранее выдали какие-то индийские анкеты, в которых указываешь своё имя, место жительство, род занятий и цель поездки. Большую часть анкеты забирают на границе, а корешок оставляют тебе. Его надо будет отдать на таможне при вылете.
Получив свои вещи, отправились к выходу, где нас ждала представитель принимающей стороны, Катерина. Узнав, в какой автобус нужно загружаться, мы отправились на его поиски. Они оказались очень короткие, как я уже говорил, аэропорт маленький, и стоянка тоже невелика. Местные аборигены донесли наши вещи до автобуса и загрузили их внутрь. За что получили 1 доллар.
Ожидая остальных туристов, в автобусе сидеть, не хотелось. Хотя предрассветные часы самые прохладные, было 22 градуса тепла. И очень влажно. После длительного перелёта все разминали затёкшие ноги, а курильщики отчаянно дымили, после семичасового воздержания. Наконец, все туристы от нашего туроператора, были в сборе. И мы поехали.
Уже рассвело, ехать предстояло 1,5 часа, за это время можно было насладиться, глядя в окно, открывающимися экзотическими видами. По дороге Катерина рассказывала о Гоа, отелях, в которых нам предстояло жить, и особенностях местной жизни.
Гоа – это бывшая португальская колония, где, почти, 50% всех местных жителей католики, которые с удовольствием едят «священных» коров и свинину. Это не классическая Индия, здесь вы не встретите огромных индуистских или буддийских храмов. Зато много католических соборов и крестов по обочинам дорог.
Кстати, о дорогах… Увидев их мы пришли в ужас. Мало того, что движение левостороннее, дорога шириной 4 метра, это оооооочень широкая дорога! Обычно, ширина не превышает 2,5-3 метров. Когда навстречу едет грузовик, разъехаться с ним – это целое приключение. При этом о правилах, местные водители, имеют весьма смутные представления. Поворотники никто не включает, да и стопы работают не у всех. Часто вместо стопов, на машине, висит табличка с надписью stop signal.
За окном автобуса проносились местные пейзажи. Рощи кокосовых пальм сменялись рисовыми полями. Наступило утро. Проезжая через городки и посёлки, мы видели школьников идущих учиться, местных жителей, спешащих по своим делам.
Наш отель Ramada Caravela Beach находился в южном Гоа, в тридцати километрах от аэропорта. Но из-за узости местных дорог, на которых не разгонишься, ехали мы туда около 1,5 часа. Наконец приехали! Отель на картинках в инете кажется небольшим. На самом деле центральная его часть, это огромное здание. Автобус высаживает туристов у входа в отель, который находится на втором этаже. Т.е. вы заходите сразу на второй этаж. Там располагается огромный холл, слева ресепшен и несколько магазинов, где продаются сувениры, ковры, ювелирные украшения и изделия из шёлка, а справа бар. И много столиков, и удобных кресел.
Было около 8 часов утра, и номера к нашему прибытию ещё не были готовы. Катерина нас предупредила заранее, что спорить и выказывать своё недовольство, оголяя себе нервы, бесполезно. Это местная тысячелетняя ментальность. Здесь всё делается медленно и печально. В первый день вас всё, особенно медлительность персонала, будет раздражать, но поделать с этим ничего нельзя. Потом быстро привыкаешь, и не обращаешь внимание. Если будешь ругаться и повышать голос на официанта в ресторане, чтобы он обслуживал вас быстрее, результат может получиться обратный. Официант-абориген растеряется, перестанет вас понимать, и может расплакаться и убежать. Да так, что его потом не сыщешь. Если не хотите остаться без заказа и официанта, будьте терпимее.
Пока готовили наши номера, оставив вещи на ресепшене, мы пошли на завтрак. Завтрак для всех накрывают на первом этаже центрального здания отеля, в кафе Каскада и кафе Ланай. Типичный шведский стол, только с местным колоритом. Омлет с разными наполнителями жарят при тебе, много свежевыжатых соков, много фруктов. Я особенно нажимал на ананасы и папайю.
Получив карточки от номера и обменяв в круглосуточном обменнике доллары на рупии, мы пошли обустраиваться. Номер был стандартным, двухместным. Там находилось две кровати, разделённых прикроватной тумбочкой, на которой стоял телефон, стеклянный журнальный столик, три кресла, небольшое трюмо с зеркалом, телевизор, при входе мини-бар и шкаф для одежды. В шкафу сейф с электронным замком. На мини-баре стоял электрический чайник, бутылка с водой, стаканы, чашки, чайные ложки. Лежал чай, кофе и сахар. Просторная ванная комната. На большом балконе также стоял маленький столик и два кресла. Нам повезло, что окна номера выходили на север. Днём, в самую жару, приятно было сидеть на балконе, потягивая прохладные напитки, не боясь испепелиться.
Разместившись, мы отправились к океану, попутно изучая отель. Ramada занимает большую площадь. Центральная его часть охватывает своими крыльями бассейны. Кроме этого, есть ещё несколько отдельно стоящих корпусов. Причём, корпуса более новые, чем главное здание. Территория очень зелёная. Растут кокосовые пальмы, бананы, тропические деревья и кустарники. Всюду зелёные газоны, по которым, не спеша, ходят белые цапли. Для любителей спорта есть теннисные корты и поле для гольфа. В центре территории отеля находятся два бассейна с пресной водой. Возле них всегда лежат немцы, которых не оторвать от бара посреди одного из бассейнов. Здесь же можно взять пляжные полотенца и велосипеды напрокат. От бассейнов, по дорожке, среди цветущих кустарников, идём навстречу океану. Перед самым пляжем находится рыбный ресторан и Sunset Bar.
Пляжи южного Гоа – это истинное чудо! Широкой лентой мелкого песка, окаймленные кокосовыми пальмами, они тянутся, кажется, бесконечно. Прилив бывает ночью, а днём, во время отлива, пляжи становятся шириной 150-200 метров! У отеля на пляже всего 10-15 шезлонгов. Да и те половину пусты. Молохольные немцы и англичане, что составляют большинство в отеле, предпочитают фритюриться возле бассейна или на лужайке, под пальмами. Пляжи, практически, пусты. Только возле ресторанчиков стоят несколько шезлонгов, занятых потенциальными клиентами. Мы тоже заняли шезлонги возле одного пляжного ресторанчика. Для будущих туристов поясню. Эти пляжные рестораны никакого отношения к отелю не имеют. Если вы занимаете шезлонги, принадлежащие этому ресторанчику, вы должны что-нибудь там заказать. Кстати, обедать и ужинать там дешевле, чем в ресторанах отеля. Риск отравиться там невелик. Травануться можно и в самом роскошном Гоанском ресторане.
И вот он океан! Ни одно море, даже самое прекрасное, не может сравниться с океаном! Прозрачная тёплая вода, белопенные волны, мелкий вход, всё идеально для купания. Когда мы приехали, температура воздуха днём была +37, воды +34. Океан немного волновался. Набегали волны, примерно с меня ростом. Но в этом была вся прелесть для любителей качаться на волнах. Бык Посейдона поднимает тебя на свои белопенные рога, и ты скатываешься по его пологой спине! Разбиваясь о берег, волна образует миллионы маленьких пузырьков воздуха, поднимающихся на поверхность. Ты ощущаешь себя словно в ванне с шампанским. Кто бывал в Памуккале и купался в бассейне Клеопатры, поймёт меня. Только в океане это в десятки раз сильнее.
С часу до трёх дня наступает самая жара. Солнце печёт немилосердно. Пора отправляться на ланч. Можно пообедать в отеле или в ресторане на берегу океана. Мы были по системе «всё включено», т.к. не рискнули первый раз кинуться в открытое кулинарное плавание, поэтому обедали чаще в отеле. Хотя, когда было особенно лень, ходили в пляжные рестораны. После ланча зашли в номер, где нас ждало сообщение о том, что русскоговорящий гид отеля ждёт нас вечером в холле, возле ресепшена. Гидом оказалась милая девушка София из Москвы, которая работает с русскими туристами в отеле. Она рассказала нам об отеле и провела по нему экскурсию.
Ужином, накрытом возле бассейна, закончился наш первый день отдыха. В самолёте я не спал, да и предыдущая ночь прошла у меня в сборах и волнениях чего бы ни забыть, в итоге я не спал две ночи. Поэтому, как только я коснулся подушки, я словно провалился. Первыми словами, когда я проснулся, были слова моего приятеля: я сейчас тебя убью! Кто говорил, что ты не храпишь во сне?! Стёкла дрожали!!!
Позавтракав, отправились на пляж. На пляже, кроме загорания и купания в океане, есть ещё развлечения. Это волейбол, можно взять напрокат скутер, резиновую лодку. Периодически к тебе подходят местные торговки, предлагая купить у них сувениры. Если захотите купить, торгуйтесь немилосердно. Сразу делите названную цену на четыре. Я купил себе несколько подушек, шитых золотом, каменного резного слона. Слон истинное чудо камнерезного искусства. Вырезанный из единого камня, у него внутри ещё один слон, а внутри того ещё один. В общем, он напоминает нашу матрёшку, только не раскрывается.
Разговорились с одной из торговок. Её зовут Анита. Ей 22 года. Замужем. Посочувствовала, что день жаркий. Так иди, искупайся, говорю ей. Что вы, вода очень холодная! Это +34 то… Для местных вода холодная. Потом она говорит: какой у вас цвет кожи красивый – белый. А сама черна как смоль. У тебя тоже загар ничего. Что вы, это плохо, это некрасиво! Вот белый – это хорошо! Так мы узнали, что чем цвет кожи светлее, тем это красивее, тем каста выше. У самых высших каст кожа очень светлая.
На самые жаркие часы, после ланча, я записывался на массаж. В отеле был аюрведический медицинский центр. Врач йог делал диагностику по пульсу. Подержав 2 минуты меня за руку, он сказал про все мои проблемы со здоровьем и дал указания массажисту, на что обратить внимание. Я всегда заказывал массаж всего тела. Женщин массируют женщины, мужчин – мужчины. Массаж делают со специальными аюрведическими душистыми маслами, тысячелетний секрет которых хранится в тайне. Сеанс длится 1 час. За это время массажист промнёт вам всё тело, до последнего мизинца на ноге, сделает массаж лица и головы. Рекомендую. Чувствуешь после этого необычайную лёгкость, в теле такая приятная гибкость получается… При этом происходит перераспределение энергии в теле.
Проведя несколько дней «овощного» отдыха, валяясь на пляже целый день и отходя от безумной жизненной гонки, мы решили съездить с ночёвкой в джунгли. Сразу предупреждаю, что вариантов поездки два. Первый, когда вас везут в джунгли и селят там в глинобитные домики на курьих ножках, с одним на всех удобством во дворе, типа сортир. И второй, когда это приличные бунгало, с душем и унитазом в каждом. На территории есть два бассейна. Цена одинаковая, но при первом варианте у некоторых туристов бывает истерика, от ненавязчивой экзотики. Катерина, представитель принимающей стороны Tes-far pavilions tours, повезла нас по второму варианту.
Ехать предстояло в северный Гоа. Забрав ещё двух девчонок из соседнего отеля, мы отправились в джунгли. Всего в группе было 8 человек. Джунгли оказались весьма живописным туристическим комплексом. Несколько бунгало под черепичной крышей, «полинезийский» ресторанчик, два бассейна, павильон, для созерцательного отдыха, два слона и всем недовольный индюк, который постоянно издавал клокочущие крики, отгоняя нас от своей индюшки. Нас встречал хозяин всего этого – Goofy. После лёгкого завтрака, нас разместили в бунгало. И начались развлечения. Первым развлечением было мытьё слонов. Поехали на реку, где они нас уже ждали. Каждому выдали специальные щётки, чтобы тереть спинку слонам. Если вы залезете на шею слону, пригнитесь к его голове, иначе получите из хобота струю воды в лицо. В общем, сбылась мечта идиотов: хотелось чего-то большого и чистого – получили. Нашли слонов, и вымыли их.
По возвращении со слоновьего купания, у нас началось знакомство с местными кустарными промыслами. Две девушки показывали своё искусство плетения из бамбука. Здесь же были уже готовые сувениры, которые можно было купить. Некоторые туристы, так вдохновились увиденным, что сами решили попробовать себя в плетении. У них получилось! Для лучшего вживания в местный колорит, Гуфи принёс нам несколько индийских костюмов. Было много смеха, когда мы их надевали. Женщины легко нарядились в сари, а вот мужчинам было тяжелее. Местные мужички весьма субтильные натуры… Мы же, как на подбор, оказались все в теле. В общем, ихние жилетки были слегка маловаты. Нафотографировавшись вволю, мы пошли кататься на слонах. Там было два слона, их то мы и мыли. Теперь настала их очередь поработать. Самое главное, попасть в ритм слоновьей походки, тогда не будет чувствоваться тряска.
Вечер закончился нашими дикими плясками с факелами в руках вокруг костра и ужином в ресторане, во время которого рекой лился местный ром и свежевыжатые соки. Перед тем, как нам пойти спать, Гуфи сказал нам, чтобы мы ничего не боялись ночью. Хотя бунгало стояли на краю джунглей, ни один хищный зверь не пришёл бы туда. Оказывается, слоны ночью не спят, они едят и слушают звуки леса. За два километра слон слышит шаги хищной кошки. При этом он издаёт трубный крик, предупреждая зверей и людей. Хищники, услышав рёв слона, уходят. И ещё, сказал Гуфи, ночью на крыши бунгало прилетят спать павлины из леса. Павлины очень чувствительны к резким звукам, у них может быть разрыв сердца. Поэтому, утром, если мы их увидим, не надо кричать от восторга, как делали это англичане до нас. Ночью действительно на крыши бунгало прилетели павлины. Зря они это сделали, во всяком случае, тот, что решил спать на нашей крыше. После стольких развлечений и впечатлений, я в эту ночь солировал с необычайной силой и вдохновением. Мой приятель, которого мучила вынужденная бессонница, отчаявшись растолкать меня, чтобы перевернулся на бок, слышал, как по крыше покатился, упав в обморок, павлин. Во всяком случае, он не умер, утром мы не нашли трупа.
Утром, перед завтраком, была пешая прогулка по краю джунглей. Ничего особенного нам не встретилось, только старый полуразрушенный индуистский храм, да табор полудиких аборигенов.
Распрощавшись с Гуфи, мы отправились в южный Гоа, в наши отели. По дороге, Катерина предложила заехать в столицу штата Панжи (Panji), чтобы посмотреть старый португальский квартал, а заодно и пообедать в португальском ресторане. Наша дружная группа согласилась. Это не входило в поездку, но если поедете, обязательно попросите, чтобы вас свозили в португальский ресторан, не пожалеете.
На следующий день мы собрались на водопад. Национальный парк, где он находится, расположен в соседнем штате, на востоке. Ехать туда около полутора часов на автобусе. Приехав в посёлок, пересаживаешься на джипы. Джипы там двух видов: открытые и закрытые. Чтобы почувствовать себя путешественником, выбирайте открытый. Вы, правда, пропылитесь насквозь, но получите незабываемые впечатления. Ехать на джипах минут 20. Просёлочная дорога петляет по лесу. Если вам повезёт как нам, увидите кобру, которая ползёт вдоль дороги, или райскую птичку, перелетающую с дерева на дерево. Если их не будет, вы все равно увидите обезьян, которые выйдут к вам из леса, по дороге к водопаду. Возьмите для них из отеля варёные яйца, а бананы купите на месте.
Водопад прекрасен! Вода, падая с высоты более ста метров, разбивается о камни и падает в небольшое озерцо. В нём можно купаться. Индийцы со священным ужасом и восхищением смотрят на белых людей, которые отваживаются купаться в ледяной воде, с температурой +20 градусов. Экскурсия на водопад заканчивается обедом в местном ресторанчике и катанием на слоне.
За два дня до нашего отъезда, чтобы его отметить, Катерина предложила нам совершить небольшую прогулку на катере в море, посмотреть на закат. В Гоа очень красивые закаты и перспектива увидеть это зрелище в открытом море, восхитила нас так, что мы немедленно согласились. Поездку организовали наши ребята, живущие в Гоа и создавшие там клуб «Новая Атлантида». На катере был сервирован столик, а принесённая русская водка и местный ром обострили чувство восприятия прекрасного. Отплыв 3,5 километра от берега, мы искупались в океане. Когда потухли последние лучи солнца, свалившегося за горизонт, катер вернулся к берегу, а Виктор, капитан его, помог нам сойти.
Отель, в котором мы были, находится в южном Гоа. Это место спокойного релаксирующего отдыха. Тем, кто хочет потусить там будет скучно. Тусовочное место – это северный Гоа, но там хуже пляжи. Можно ездить из южного Гоа в северный на такси. В северном находятся несколько клубов и дискотек. Но перспектива возвращаться ночью по местным дорогам нас остановила. В южный Гоа хорошо приезжать дружной компанией. И всё-таки, есть определённое очарование в таком релаксе. Первые два дня ещё дергаешься, не в силах остановиться от будничной гонки, а на третий уже подчиняешься мерному течению времени и неспешной жизни гоанцев.
В различных странах я бывал. В большинстве они мне нравились, но всегда я покидал их без сожаления. Уезжать с Гоа мне не хотелось.
